We all face problems and have to figure out solutions. We can each tap into our creativity and watch incredible things happen when we think outside the box. What does it look like to do that? That’s exactly what author Justine Avery explores in her children’s picture book, Think Outside the Box.

These lessons are great for children and adults alike. Each child is wired differently, and they can use their unique gifts and creativity to find answers that others quickly overlook.

This book reminds us that we need to nurture the use of creativity. It’s easily stifled and extinguished at an early age, but children are naturally creative. When they have people in their lives who foster that creativity, they will flourish.

As adults, we need that same reminder. Too often, we quickly go about our day, and we get stuck in the same way of doing things. When we begin to change our mindset, we will see the world differently. We will begin to see a whole new set of possibilities.

The format of the illustrations is different and eclectic on every page, reminding readers to think outside the box. However, there is continuity with the use of the same color scheme used throughout the book.
