Prayers

Dear God, we pray for the woman who is in the middle of a storm. Nothing is visible, and she feels as though she’s going to drown, but Lord, you are with her this very moment. We ask that you comfort her and ease all the fears that fill her mind. Even though the rain is pouring and the waves are crashing, you are still in control. You will not let go. Thank you for being the light in the darkness. Thank you for being bigger than the biggest waves that try to capsize us. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Dear God, we pray for the woman who is outside her comfort zone. Nothing is comfortable, and every moment is stretching her in ways she never thought possible. She knows that great growth is going to come from this, but right now it’s so hard. Lord, we ask that you give her the stamina she needs to keep pushing through. Give her the wisdom and strength she longs for. Encourage her when she gets discouraged, lift her up when she stumbles, and remind her that you are doing a mighty thing in her life. Thank you for being with us in every circumstance. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Dear God, we pray for the woman who is tired of pretending to be strong. She has done this for so long and continues to build the walls so others think she’s fine, but Lord, she’s falling apart. Her strength is limited, but she continues to rely on herself. Lord, turn her eyes to you. You don’t want her to keep carrying the burden she has been shouldering. You want her to lay it at your feet. You can comfort her like no one else. Renew her with your strength, and remind her of your love for her. Thank you for being the one to carry her through this storm. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Dear God, we pray for the mama who is discouraged by the change of plans. Whether it’s something small that fell through or a huge disappointment of something she had to give up, she is struggling to come to terms with it. She hates that reality is different than her expectations. Lord, this change did not come as a surprise to you. You are still in control, and you have a plan through it all. We ask that you pull this mama close and remind her that you haven’t forgotten her. You are still at work and have incredible things planned. Help her to trust in you and your goodness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Dear God, we pray for the mama who has lost touch with her old friends. It was so much easier to get together with friends before having little ones, and now she feels lonely. She feels as though she has been forgotten, and she longs to have someone walk with her. Lord, we pray for the opportunity for old friends to reconnect. Lord, you desire for us to be in community with one another. Thank you for meaningful relationships, and we ask that you cultivate them and breathe new life into weary souls. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Dear God, we pray for everyone mourning the loss of someone who served in the military. Thank you for the brave men and women who have laid down their lives for this country, but their absence cuts deep. They are sorely missed by their family and friends. Lord, you are the God of comfort, and you are close to the brokenhearted. We ask that you wrap your arms around those who understand the true weight of Memorial Day. May we never forget the sacrifice of those who’ve given it all to keep this country safe. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Dear God, we pray for the woman yearning to mend a broken relationship. Hurts from the past continue to resurface, and she doesn’t want things to stay that way. Sometimes it feels like things will never be restored, but you are a God of restoration. Nothing is beyond your ability to mend what has been broken. We ask that you heal the wounds and make the bond stronger than ever. We ask that you soften hearts and provide open communication. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Dear God, we pray for the woman struggling with infertility. She wants nothing more than to be a mom, and her heart is broken. She is discouraged and frustrated that pregnancy seems to happen so easily for others, and she doesn’t understand why you have allowed this struggle to be part of her story. Lord, we ask that you comfort her in a way that only comes from you. You have not forgotten her, and you hear the cry of her heart. Even though it might not make sense, you have a plan in all of this. Thank you for being in control. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Dear God, we pray for the woman who is in a season of change. Everything is different, and it’s causing her to feel out of control. She wants to take hold of the reins, but you have an incredible plan. Thank you for directing her steps. Lord, you have already gone before her, and you will be with her every step of the way. Thank you for being the light she needs in the darkness. She knows everything is temporary, but the bittersweet part of that is pulling on her heart right now. She’s excited about what is to come, and yet she is a little terrified of the unknown. In the midst of all this change, we ask that you comfort her with the reminder of your constant faithfulness. You have not forsaken her. You will not let her down. Draw her close to you, and direct the steps she should take. Even though everything around her is changing, thank you for being a God who never changes. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Dear God, we pray for the mama whose child is facing health concerns. Lord, it’s terrifying. She doesn’t know what’s going to happen from one day to the next. She wishes she could do something to change the circumstances, but she knows she can’t. We ask that you comfort her and help her place all her fears at your feet. Lord, you care about this mama and her child. You created each of them, and you have an incredible plan. Please guide the doctors and nurses as they provide the necessary care. Lord, we ask that you surround this mama with a community of people to speak hope and encouragement to her weary heart. Keep her eyes focus on you – for you will never leave nor forsake her. Thank you for your steadiness in the midst of the chaos. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Dear God, we pray for the mama who feels like she has lost who she is. She loves her children, but in the midst of dirty diapers, sleepless nights, and tantrums, she has forgotten who she used to be. But Lord, you haven’t forgotten her. You have her exactly where she needs to be. You have called her to this incredible season of motherhood, and you have equipped her. We ask that you give her a new perspective and encourage her weary heart. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
