Tynea: What inspired you to write Vivienne in Paris?

Maria: I was inspired to write Vivienne in Paris based on my own self-discovery journey as an adult. I learned that happiness is unique to each individual and through a great self-connection and a greater connection with the world around you, you would see and experience the world around you and yourself through a different lens; that is what creates profound joy unique to you.

Tynea: What do you hope people take away from reading your book?

Maria: I hope my readers will take away that making small adjustments in your own life will inspire a more full, rich, and sensorial life. I hope that readers ponder and question their own happiness levels and apply a holistic approach to learning and feeling, creating the most profound results.

Tynea: How have your travels influenced your writing?

Maria: Traveling has provided me with new, fresh perspectives, appreciation for various cultures and a greater sense of understanding of one’s self and the world around them. The more you venture, the more you learn about you!

Tynea: What is one of the best places you’ve visited?

Maria: One of my favorite places to visit with Buenos Aires, Argentina. It was a culture filled with dance, music, amazing food, and being that my father grew up there, I felt a strong connection to its European style people and culture.

Tynea: What is a fun memory you have from your travels?

Maria: Getting proposed to in the Luxembourg Gardens of Paris was by far and away my most fun and INCREDIBLE experience during my travels that was a complete surprise. I had no idea, and it is a memory that will live on in my heart forever!

Tynea: Where do you hope to travel next?

Maria: I hope to travel to Asia next. I have never been to Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia. I would love to experience the richness of a very diverse culture, and it’s my favorite type of food!
